My friend had her mastectomy yesterday.
So far things look really good. The margins were clear and there appears as if there was no involvement in the Lymph nodes. Pathology will be back on Friday.

Lounge mojo for her would be appreciated.

7. Good vibes and white light to your friend for her healing
I'm seriously considering doing the 3-day Breast cancer walk down in San Diego in November...raising a bunch of money, training, then walking 60 miles in 3 days with thousands of others. I've never done it, but it could be fun. A couple of my cousins are trying to talk me into joining them.

Have you ever done it?

9. No I never have.
I would really need to start training for something of that magnitude, I would also have to get the orthopod's okay, since I have fake joint parts.

She is in my thoughts.
My mother had breast cancer when I was 3 and ovarian when I was 6. Mastectomy and removal of ovaries and uterus.
She passed away when I was 30.(she was 69). Lived independantly and fully until that day.
Make sure you pass that on to your friend....
