What's the loveliest word you know?
Again...phonetically.

Me? I like 'scintillating'. I like the way it feels when I say it, I like the way it sounds when I hear it.

It's so perfect in so many ways. Short, but it describes so much for a four letter word.

Oh, wait, that's technically a phrase.

My favorite loveliest word is perhaps "elision". Maybe "chiaroscuro".

5. Of the two
I like 'chiaroscuro' better. I like the way they both sound...and I have to confess to giving 'elision' a slight edge when it comes to the way it feels...but I have to go with 'chiaroscuro' because of the meaning.

And that first phrase is memorable...the memory wouldn't last long but it'd make a hell of an impression.

I often put words in for the sound when they don't belong there - Wish, axis, sometime, whisper -- and then the Editor has to axe those syllables.

But "yes" is very lovely. :)
