How the hell do I summarize a "position description" in 180 characters?
Say, theoretically, I was filling out resume-type information on a job website. How in the hell am I supposed to reduce a description of my position to 180 characters? Let's say, for example, the original resume entry was this:

"Instruct preschool, pre-K, kindergarten, and sixth through eighth grade general music classes and fourth through eighth grade chorus. Course work includes melodic and harmonic studies and music history. Choir duties include small group, sectional and ensemble work. Musical director duties include teaching music to cast members and coordinating rehearsals and orchestral accompaniment. Other duties include coordinating music for chapel, holiday, and other special programs, as well as acting as a faculty advisor."

How do you reduce that to 180 characters? I think I can leave out the grade levels, as that was a separate entry.

3. Summerize sounds like you just need to say basically the same thing with less words. Don't make ful
full sentences, abbreviate, just see how many words you can leave out of what you have already said, and say a small amount of new info in a couple of sentences.

6. Find a different career website
No, really. That's the way I'd type that up on a resume, and if that's too long, then meh.
