I am so stuck in 70s and 80s rock that I fear I am growing a mullet.

my kid tells me they were hot for a whlie but now have broken up....

Arcade Fire....on SNL the other night ... never had seen them... kid says they've been around quite a whle.

6. Of course, "quite a while" in kid-time usually means "a year or less."
In the case of Arcade Fire, they formed in mid-2003. Being a middle school music teacher, I've heard kids refer to songs released only six months before by saying "oh my God, that song is SO OLD. I can't believe you still have it on your iPod."

Gawds I miss Kirby.

I miss Minnesota for that matter. I am going on a pilgrimmage to Minnesota on the 7th of April, for a week. I will get to see the Twins play the Yankees!
