Well, if any column should been pulled it's mine from this week. I did a column, intended to be humourous about the mad cow from Canada being economic pay back for softwood lumber.

I made fun of Bush, used the word cajones, and in general the editorial was shallow, poorly researched and crappy. He didn't say a thing, he thought it was funny.

At least now I have a little guidance. He's still letting me rant, but I have to make a case for why this is bad for my readers. Easier said than done. (I'm going with an "undermining competition" angle right now.)
