Will "Las Vegas" suck without James Caan and Nikki Cox?
So it seems that James Caan is leaving "Las Vegas" (Hah! See what I did there?) to work on films, while Nikki Cox is the victim of budget cuts. I've always thought Nikki Cox's primary function on the show was to display her breasts, so her departure won't be any great loss. What about James Caan, though?

2. He was fired because he refused to display his breasts.

4. Or maybe he insisted on it - "give me a topless scene, or I'm out of here!"

3. Yes - losing James Caan will gut the show
Pretty much the only reason I started watching was my 'who is doing what!?' reaction when I first saw him listed.

Nikki Cox is 'Mary', right? If so - no big loss. That character does nothing for me...

5. The only upside I see in Nikki Cox leaving...
... is that without steady work she may finally be talked into getting topless for the first time.

Sure it's pervy, but dammit, I've been waiting for that day since I was a teenaged boy.

Not having James Caan will gut the show though. It'll make it one, maybe two more seasons.

6. Both loses are big
for different reasons, of course

7. I definitely think it will go downhill without both of them.
I really can't picture the show without James Caan, to be honest. Nikki Cox, not so much, but she's an original cast member, so it will be a little weird.
