I hate having to call the cops

But the neighbors three apartments down sound like they are banging on a bass drum from a marching band. I went down and rang the doorbell three times, but they never answered. Even though it annoys the shit out of me, I hope they keep it up til the cops come so I don't look like the "crazy neighbor".

3. i hate looking like the crazy neighbor

when i was in college i lived in a supremely shitty triplex. the garages were under the apartments and the guys next door had a pool table in theirs (right under my bedroom). i can't tell you how many times i called the cops on those guys (they routinely had parties, which was fine on the weekends but not during the week). half the damn time they'd be done before the cops got there and it got to the point i was afraid i would get popped for calling the cops too many times.
