I'd rather get original art. I don't like prints. But, I just don't have the dough re mei.
I'm I too old for posters?

3. do you like auctions?
just about every art related non-profit that i know of has an auction, and a lot of other charities as well.
but really, original art is not always expensive.

4. Yes, but...
Art can be cheap. Find a piece of wallpaper you like. Frame it. Hang on wall. Viola!

That or start painting stuff in your apartment solid bright colors and hanging it on the walls. Sadly, these ideas came to me from an interior decorator a few years back when I had the same issue and no money.

I learned to paint, photograph and draw instead.

6. Event posters are way cool
Art shows, operas, concerts, plays, exhibits, festivals, anything with an announcement or a date I think are great. Frame em up with an inexpensive metal frame and you have a nice piece of art, perfect for decorating a space.

8. Go to festivals or craft shows.
I can always find art work there at reasonable prices.
