3. Houston Archdiocese will decide.
In the heavily Hispanic neighborhood the sudden appearance of the image on Ash Wednesday was seen as a blessing by all.

And they were worried about what would become of the pizza pan Madonna.

"She told me that she's waiting for a call from the... Archdiocese of Galveston/Houston," said Ortero. "That's it."

School officials say they're seeking guidance from the Archdiocese and will do whatever it recommends.

The PTA moms have decided they trust the Archdiocese to do the right thing and so they will turn over the pizza pan.
