I was told I have "The map of Ireland on my face"

nor was it a suggestion of any sort. Though there may or may not have been a hint behind it.

If you have the map of Ireland on your face, I hope you're Irish. The meaning of the compliment would be lost on say, a Dane.

12. No, and I grew up in Scotland.
It's 40 miles to Ireland from Scotland. I've been to New Zealand, 8,000 miles from Scotland but not Ireland. That's a little bizarre, isn't it?
