The storyline is a bit hard to follow but what I gather is that Claire's dad worked for some clandestine agency that was tracking and doing something to the people with these abilities.

It will be interesting to see how it all turns out. I just want to meet Tim Kring and worship him!! This is one of the best shows ever to come out on TV.

I heard that they intend to do each season as a separate storyline arc.
So it wont be like Lost with questions that drag on and on and on and on and on.... you get the point

that's what happened with Dark Angel.

I do hope they come up with some unique powers though. I was kinda ticked when they showed the girl with the Internet manipulating powers as that was one of my things. I did mention here on DU that is type of power I would want.

Do you think that they would get a "Storm" type character or a "Cyclops" type on there?

Damn, I wish I could be a character on that show!!!

19. A Storm or Cyclops character would be pushing it too much.

Simone may have/had a power that is fairly unique to my knowledge (only one other character, in comics)-I'm only hearing a secondhand spoiler, and it could be an editing glitch from the preview.

That's the problem...any "original" powers have been used somewhere before-it's the nature of things.
