Just watching a repeat of 1 Vs 100.
A guy had $263,000 that he could take and run with. He decided to go another question.
The question was who was the mayor of the nation's capital. There were 15 mob members left, and since he didn't know the answer, he went with the most popular answer as chosen by the "mob."
Once I saw their choice, I knew he was screwed. They chose A. Richard Daley. I knew right when I saw the choices that he is Chicago's mayor.
Anyways, the correct answer was B. Adrian Fentley. 10 "mob" members got it wrong, and so the 5 who answered correctly ended up splitting the $263,000.
His response just before he decided to go for it was, "I'll never be this close to a million again." I can guarantee him one thing, he'll Never be that close to a QUARTER OF A MILLION DOLLARS Ever again!
I think he'll try to convince himself for the remainder of his days, that this wasn't such a big deal. As life events go, there are mistakes, and then there are MISTAKES. Tossing away $263,000 is a MONUMENTAL mistake.
