I'm worried about the 2008 election...

my concern is that neither Clinton nor Obama will get elected. As of this moment they appear to be the 2 front-runners, although there's a lot that can happen between now and summer of 2008(convention time).

Concerns about Clinton:
- That last name will automatically make millions of morans vote for her rethuglican opponent, regardless of who that is.
- There's a large enough number of male sexist pigs out there who will never vote for a woman, regardless of the issues/where the candidates stand relating to issues.
- Representing the Northeast seems to hurt a candidate's chances in a national election.

Concerns about Obama:
- There's a large enough number of morans who will never vote for a man who isn't white.
- There's an alarming number of morans who upon seeing Obama's face think he was born/raised/closely allied with the Middle East...and automatically vote for the rethuglican
- Obama's last name is similar to the first name of osama bin laden...and there will be some morans out
there who will use that name similarity to create a connection between those two men.

The above concerns won't stop me from voting for the Democratic nominee in November. I'm a divorced white male who is active duty in the Air Force, and 37 years old. That demographic normally votes for the rethuglicans so if I can see the light anything is possible!

Let's not get lazy because we regained Congress! We need to pursue the swing vote, and people who never/usually don't vote to get the rethuglicans out of the White House!
