Cell Phone people: I would like to save you some money.

I am not trying to schill for this exactly; but I like to make sure ppl are aware this exists.I have been using them for 5 years now and love it. The reason it's so cheap is because the coverage area is only usually within whatever city you are in and maybe the neighboring one(s);it tends to follow the highway. After seeing RRR's post about her teen running up a hellified bill; I wanted to make SURE you all knew about this company. Of course it's only useful if you don't travel much.

The most EXPENSIVE plan they have is $50 a month. I pay about $59 because I have a couple of small add-ons; but compared to the several hundred dollars some pay; this is nothing. I also have it directly debited out of my checking.

The phones don't cost any more than other places; and you can get a bottom of the line functional phone (like I have) for about $75.

NO credit checks.

I hardly ever get a dropped call unless going through a very hilly area; but YMMV.

They are expanding very very slowly but surely; and eventually this looks to be the best deal going.

that pretty much is our story although it's getting measurably better. It works out perfectly because husband works in Charlotte so he takes the phone with him. We live in G'boro; and he is covered straight down the highway.
