Favorite song from a well-known band that no one's ever heard before
"Dallas" by Steely Dan. Their first single, never available except as part of a Dutch EP. The B side, "Sail the Waterway" is pretty good too.

2. "Satisfaction" by the Rolling Stones. So obscure, so underplayed.

3. If we're going there...
How 'bout "Fallout" by the Police? It was released in 1978 and I bought a vinyl 45 of it at an obscure record store in Berkeley.

5. "Rain Song" and "No Quarter" by Zeppelin
Both very under-rated and underplayed Zeppelin tunes.
