5. I friggin' nailed a cat on the interstate the other night.
I felt so fucking horrible I can't tell you. It was late at night and I could do absolutely nothing about it. It came out of nowhere. Two of them actually, but I only hit one of them. They must have been strays. If I had swerved I would be dead right now, that was the situation, I was doing about 70 or 75. I cried a little.

10. not yet
we barricade ourselves into the bedroom at night
the rats can't fit under the doors

truly nolan and orkin have been looking around in my closets, under the sink and behind the stove AND the said it could become dangerous because it looks like there is a mama rat looking for a place to build a nest AND she is likely to become nasty :scared:

:hi: hold me :loveya:

11. I seriously started looking for a house to rent ~ today!

I think I'll be happier on the west coast of Florida but I have a lease (which I know I'm going to try to break) because I would hate to pay-it-out.

I get sick to my stomach when I even think about cleaning-up after mice. :puke: I'm glad the rats haven't left a big mess ... yet. One of the local exterminators will be setting traps later today or tomorrow.

 I want to know if the landlord is going to pay for repairing my new (bought in December) sofa.

12. I hate to kill anything!

I was happy to relocate the first rat 10 blocks north and 3 blocks west of here. He was a cute lil feller albeit he did eat my sofa.

14. I would too
I'll tolerate just about anything, including trapping mice in humane traps, but rats I would have to trap. When I lived in Knoxville I heard about a woman that had part of her ear bitten off by a rat while she was sleeping. No way.

17. This building was almost destroyed bu a hurricane 2 years ago.

The place is still being put back together. Two of the 18 units are still under repair. I can't get high speed internet because it doesn't exist here in the heart of Florida' east coast. :banghead: I'll be moving again this year.

19. Are you staying warm, my old friend?

I enjoyed the brief cold snap we've had this weekend even though it did cause my arthritis to kick-up. The sun has gotten rid of my SAD.
Mr A and I are going to look for a two bedroom house to rent on the west coast of Florida. I guess I'll be moving again before the house up north is sold.

21. I've dated several rats
but never killed any of them. I've wanted to at times, thought about it, but the idea of having to cleaning up the mess it would make made me change my mind. They definitely weren't worth the trouble, ick.

I have mice that come into the femansion, I've bought the electric trap (doesn't work), the humane traps (they laugh at those, I swear, I've heard 'em) and now have settled on the regular traps. That, and my jack russell is not kept in her kennel at night, she was breed to catch the damn things so she better catch 'em.

:hi:

:pals:  :loveya:

22. a certain former south-florida lover turned out to be one
I swear I'm about ready to give up on men  it's easier than killin' 'em.

A for mice :grr: I can't stand 'em. I threw out lots of things last year due to mouse damage. I did have one electronic device that worked to keep 'em outta small places. The have-a-heart trap worked once  I think I may have set it wrong the last two nights. I can't seem to set the Victor Rat Trap without catching my fingers in it. It took 4 attempts and a very bruised finger to get it right last night. I know my Golden Retriever would scare 'em off if only she were here.

:hi: :loveya: :yourock:
