Just ordered my six-pack of Phillies tickets!
I got both Red Sox games (of course), the Cubbies, the Mets, the Pirates, and the Nationals. I don't really care who they play, since I get to see Ryan Howard and Chase Utley every time, and as long as I get my Sox games, I'm happy. :) I got all Friday night games, except the day Sox game. I love the night games in the summer, with the lights.

BASEBALL!! It's ON!

1. At least you won't have to see them get swept by the Tigers
We play the Phillies this year in interleague.

2. I almost got Detroit tickets!
But I was trying to space out the games in my sixpack. :) Plus I like the Friday night games, after work.

3. Isn't it exciting?
Spring Training is set to begin in a week and before we know it, it will be time to enjoy warm summer evenings at the ball park and at the Phillies park they have those good cheesesteaks there...which is one of the few good things I'll ever say about a Philadelphia team :P

4. YAY!
I just asked off for all those Fridays from work, so I can enjoy my day and relax before I head down to the ballpark. It's easy to get there on the subway so I never have to worry about parking, and our new stadium is a great place to see a game. It's small and intimate so there are no bad seats.

Those warm summer evenings at the ballpark make me happy all the way down to my toes. Can't wait!!

13. Ah!
I suggest you contact some friend or relative who IS a fan, and let them drag you to the ballpark and explain all the fine nuances of the game and the rivalries and the trades and the trash talking. You'll find it's a soap opera for guys (and gals, like me!). :D

Seriously, that's how I got into it. I needed someone to help me love it, and then I was hooked.

14. Oh I know baseball...
I just get bored watching it. It gets to slow for me sometimes. Or I always seem to catch the game that goes to the 15th inning or something. It would be more exciting if they let the batter carry his bat with him. And if he can win the base, he is safe. Now that is family entertainment right there.
