Poll question: Who has Monday off for the holiday?
I have the day off, since our entire building is closed for the holiday. I also have Tuesday off, but that's because I worked a very rare Saturday. So technically, my three-day weekend just began. Unforch, the husband must go to work tomorrow. So, who else has Monday off?

3. Me too.
If I was still bartending, I'd have to go, otherwise, I wouldn't get paid.

19. What are you doing that you get so sore on the weekends?
Wasn't it a few week's back that someone was teasing you about a sore arm and how that came to be? You must be one hell of a weekend warrior. :-)

23. Nice feeling, right?
We had no choice, since the entire 18-floor building is closed. We are one of the last buildings in NYC to have elevator operators, so I think it has a lot to do wih that as well. Go Unions!

Unlucky part: Combination of insurance settlement, law suit & inheritance.

Lucky part: It was wisely invested so I was able to retire at 30.

52. Nope...
twice a year, on Columbus Day and President's Day the bank is closed, but they make it mandantory that employees come in for the day for "training". It's bullshit...we sit and have to listen about how they lost money, how we need to make referrals and today was sooooo special. The local fire department came in and taught us how to stop...drop...and roll. I felt like I was still in grade school.

58. nah...
pretty plain looking guys, IMO. But, I will say that they were alot better than the last training session in October as far as their presentation went(we only had to watch 2 videos and learn the stop, drop, and roll). During that one, the city cops stormed in (it was suppose to be a surprise)and pretended that they were robbing the bank. Most of us were laughing, because they were waving their guns in the air and telling everyone to get on the floor and lay down. I and others had seen them outside putting on their costumes and most of us know the city cops. It was really hokey...but, one of my friends was visably shaken. She had been thru a robbery in a bank in Georgia and this little stunt really shook her up.
