Anyone see "Shark" last night?
This has been my new favorite show for the last few months. I love the characters, the dialogue, the surprise endings (the protagonists don't always win as you'd expect them to), and the clever writing, without the schizophrenic scene-shifts that so many shows seem to have these days. You can actually follow a storyline and get involved with character development. Next week's episode looks amazing, too.

In last night's episode he went after a powerful judge who'd made his career on denouncing gays, blocking equal rights, and proclaiming "family values." Turned out he'd had his wife murdered because she found out he was cheating on her with his boyfriend, and he was afraid the word would get out. At the end, when the slimeball is in jail, he tries to play the "victim" card and says, "You persecuted me because I'm gay," to which Shark replied, "No, I persecuted you because you killed your wife, and because you're a hypocrite."

Taken right from the recent headlines. I loved it!
