I've been up all night mucking around with my computer. All was fine until I started customizeing some icons. Now I have a box below the icon, which contains the icons name but it soooo obvios. I like it with the icon and the name...no box thingy in there.

Anyone have any ideas. Help me, please. I need to get some sleep. :silly:

Well I fixed it...after I slept. I'm OC but, I think my husband would definitely divorce me if I get any closer to becoming a Monkette. :P

BUT!!! I've lost the Control Panel!!!!!! It's not in the start up menu. Any ideas about how to find and make it come home? :crazy:

Are you using Windows XP? If so, right click on the task bar and click "Properties." Click the "Start Menu Tab" then "Customize" then "Advanced" and you can find My Computer in there, just make sure the little box next to it is checked, and then click OK.

Yesterday I saw a nice computer skin that I wanted to buy but, I can't find it now. The theme was 'Once Upon A Time.' There was another nice one I would buy for my husband called 'Oxidized.' I almost order some icons but even the checkout process was screwy. Or maybe it's me. lol

That site is so messed up!! I'm not sure I want one now anyway. I signed up for the chat room and read their msg board. If something goes wrong and something always does - sounds like a big can of worms and repairs $.
