Never have understood why it's any skin off anybody else's nose if people marry their own gender or the opposite gender. And that tired hogwash about marriage being about procreation is just crap, or else why are people who are sterile or past the age of childbearing allowed to marry?

I will never tell people they shouldn't share their opinions. That's no different from what the RWers tries to do to liberals with the un-american black list garbage.

But I will ask that the goverment remember it must represent it's citizens equally and not allow itself to be swayed by religious opinion. Equal rights for all!

10. The mind hardley has the courage to boggle.
John Paul, II is morally obligated to share his thoughts on spiritual matters with the church. Unfortunately, that includes issues such as the sacrament of marriage and homosexuals.

The Catholic church as a body, however, is no more 'one' with John Paul's thinking than the U.S. is with George Bush's.
