plus, like others have said above, the word 'naughty' has skeevy associations for some of us. Another thing is that on days when there are 47 threads on the same football game, if I hide them all I don't have to scroll so much. Scrolling is exhausting work, you know.

I have a handful of people on ignore so I never see any threads they start...that probably helps. Usually it's a theme for me. If there are 70 threads on the grammy's I hide them all. If there are a million on the superbowl, I hide them all. There only needs to be one thread on this shit, people.
