Funny child story
A friend of ours got a call from her son's school the other day. It was the school nurse telling her to come pick up her four year old boy because his stomach was bothering him. My friend leaves work and goes and picks up her little boy. (Remember, he's only four.)

They drive home and the second she pulls into the driveway he hops out of the car and runs into the yard and climbs a tree, happy as a clam. My friend asked him what was up. "I thought your stomach hurt." He seems almost gleeful and says his stomach doesn't hurt at all. She starts lecturing him about telling tales and lying to people, etc. ...all the mom stuff. Then suddenly he just goes..."BUT MOM...I LIKE FOOLING PEOPLE!"

Think we have a future politician here?

3. I'm still trying to explain the difference between
a fun silly trick and lying to Dropkid. One thing I REALLY hate is lying.

4. A little Karma
This kid has the best parents in the whole wide world, imo. They had him late, old hippies, help run the local food co-op...just really responsible loving leftists BUT when Dad was in High School he and his best friend were FAMOUS for the yarns they would invent to get out of class. They were wild boys. So we just mention Karma...<g>...
