What makes Bill O'Reilly such an asshole?

Examples of O'Reilly being an asshole are too vast in number to enumerate. Suffice it to say, at last count he has earned the award for being Keith Olberman's "Worst Person in the World" eleven times. That's quite an accomplishment considering the competition. Typically, he invites guests on his show and rather that let them talk, he insults them. Blaming victims is a popular asshole activity for B.O. His most notorious example was suggesting that a child abduction and rape victim was having fun living with his captor.

So just how did B.O. become such an asshole?

Seriously! But he didn't have the stuff. He felt betrayed by Hollywood because he couldn't make it and now he's getting back. Once Phil Donahue was on his show and kept calling him "Billy" (they go back a long way) and O'Reilly never said squat to Donahue. He sat there and just took it. It's like he's never gotten over it. It explains all the hate towards Hollywood.

What amazes me is that no one has really done an expose on this guy. Teacher - where did he teach and where are all his ex-students, ex-collegues? What did they think of him? What kind of teacher was he? etc, etc. Nothing has been done about this phony. He's been a Hollywood wantabe for years. My oldest sister remembers him on local NY TV back in the 60's when he supposedly was a teacher.

Sorry, his big tirade against Insane Clown Posse and the ilk... he lost credibility big-time by meandering about the symptoms of a problem (and thinking there is no problem because he never addressed it). We all know he DARE not say the truth or invite a record label exec on to ask them "Why do you sign these (whatevers) up, doesn't that make you a part of the problem?" (Because filth pays and the execs want money. Bill knows that too. It's a very simple equation, we've seen it played out time and again in the media, and Bill could never be that simple...)

At times he's right, but he seems to overlook some obvious points. So he's either obtuse or biased.

In the end, as with Phil, Geraldo, Oprah, Jerry, Maury, and the rest, his show is tabloid television. It's as simple as that.
