I do see the side of those who don't like it - the popularity contest aspect, but you know, a lot of people are popular for a good reason, not just clicques and believe me I understand the Charlie Brown side of it - been there, have the empty mailbox! But I also see the "left" side of DUers having such a fun time spreading the love all over to people they don't even know - just looking for folks without any hearts and I LOVE the reactions. It DOES bring a smile.

So donate some more $$ to the DU's tubes and have some fun giving out the mystery love!

3. It's a nice thing. Some people take it way too seriously

I was excited to give mine away, and I was excited to get one. Later on, I figured out that it came from the admins for donating. Doh! :)

Anyway, who cares? It made me feel nice to give some this morning and to receive one, albeit an automated one. Helped me muddle through a crappy workday regardless.
