OMG I bought a Keyboard - I'm gonna learn how to play it

I always wanted to learn how to play piano when I was a kid but our home was too small to put a piano in there - so I never learned. So today I bought a Casio keyboard, nothing fancy - don't want to invest a ton of money and not use it. And I'm gonna see if I can teach myself piano. I mean, I know how to read music just need to figure out how to put it all together.

Plus I bought a book of "Easy Piano Classics" I think my neighbors might be getting bored of 'Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring' (I can play the first part almost with both hands)

I must be nuts!

1. Me too! Only I bought a book called

"How to Play Popular Piano in 10 Easy Lessons." You learn the chords and can play "fake books" or by ear. And the good thing about keyboards is you can lower the volume or use headphones if the neighbors complain about your playing. Good luck! I'm not getting thru my "10 Easy Lessons" very quickly.

2. I had limited choices with the book that I bought

But tomorrow for lunch I'm heading to a music store to buy something more appropriate for teaching. I just wanted something I could fiddle around with tonight
