I am thinking about cutting my hair

My hair is currently almost to the middle of my back. I am thinking of cutting it into a just below chin length bob.

What say you, lounge? Should I cut it or not?

if it would make you happy to have it shorter, then go for it. Donate the hair after it's cut though.

I'm only 37, and mine is down to my butt. Maybe when I'm old I'll consider it. :)

I chopped it once, when I was 14. I regretted it for years. I'm sure it's a mental-block thing going on with me now... but enough about me...

8. It's quite the personal thing

Mine was down almost to my butt a few years back. Had it cut to just below shoulder length with shaping in the front. WHile I liked the look, I had to do something with it every day...unlike when having long hair, I could just pull it back, or up, or curl it, or wear a headband, or braid it, or....

I miss my long hair.Right now it's about mid-back length, and I intend on growing it a bit longer yet.

All that being said, there are lots of maneagable short bob cuts, and I think any one of these would look good on you!

12. And here I made the decision to grow mine today!

I say go with it! However, it's harder to grow out than to cut short. I'm salt 'n pepper, and right now very short. And I'm getting sick of having bad hair days and no options. The gray hair looks good when it's short (I've had many compliments on my silver highlights), but I'm not so sure how it's going to look long. I've got very thick, somewhat wavy hair, and I've worn it long before...just not with so much gray. I don't want to look like a witch...However, I'd like to have more styling options than I do now. I'm bored!!!

That being said, I cut my long hair two years ago and am loving my shorter 'do.
Hair grows back, go for it! And "Locks for Love" would appreciate the donation.

17. I cut all of my hair off last year... just make sure, before you do it, that

you are willing to go through a lengthy "looking goofy" stage if you ever decide to grow it out again.

I'm there now and it SUCKS.
