gave up soda 6 weeks ago
I find I don't miss it. I drink mostly water with the occasional glass of wine with dinner.

4. my wife
orders it out of habit whenever we go out to dinner. The first few times I had to think about it, but now I just say "water please".

Plus I don't care for water that much. I need to drink more tea.

2. You know, when I gave it up, I didn't miss it either.
It scares me now that I didn't used to drink the amount of water that we all need to.

3. How much did you drink before?
I am not catholic but I'm considering giving it up for "lent" because I feel like I really need to and, apparently, without a gimmicky motivating factor I can't seem to do it.

Was it hard?

some days it was just 2 or 3 cans of Pepsi. But others it was 6 to 12. Nope just decided after the holidays to not drink it just to see if i could do it.

6. One of my best friends drinks about a 12 pack a day of Dr. Pepper.
When we both worked at the YMCA in the summer (in MS at about 95 degrees with about 100% humidity) he would rehydrate by getting a cola. But once you get used to water, you will wonder how you ever did it!!

8. OK You've totally inspired me. Come the 20th
I'm going to be carbonated beverage free.

I'll have to drink the stockpile between now and then, though.
