Has anyone ever seen Hogan Knows Best?
Edited on Fri Feb-09-07 10:25 PM by Shell Beau
I hate hate hate wrestling, but Hulk Hogan seems like a good guy! Plus he's been around forever!! And he's an animal lover!

He had the choice to put his name on what is now known as the "George Foreman" or this stupid energy drink. He chose the latter!! :o Oops!

1. I adore his wife
They went to court over having too many animals and they fought it and lost. She confronted the neighbors in the parking lot and she was so cool, she started yelling at them and said (because a fine of $100 a day had been levied against them) "So What! $100 a day? I can wipe my ass with that!"

That was one of the funniest things I have ever seen. They even took two of their dogs to live in another house they owned. Eventually they appealed and won their case. I don't like the way he openly treats his daughter and son with different rules, I think that is really, really wrong. And I'm not sure what his political leanings are. But he is taking a stand against animal fighting and his wife is adorable. :hi:

2. I guess since I grew up with different rules for me and my brothers,
I can somewhat understand that. He is just an overprotective daddy. I think it is sweet in a way. Although, I surely didn't when I was growing up. My dad didn't play around. He was the real deal. You know the one with the shotgun! (kidding, but barely!!)

That is funny about the $100 though!!

4. my dad had guns too
But they were equally strict with all of us. Yep that was hilarious when she confronts the neighbors in the parking lot of the courthouse, I hope you get to see that episode, it's my favorite one. It's sad because they used to have a rooster and ferrets and rabbits and all kinds of animals but the neighbors kept complaining and they were down to like five dogs and a ferret or something and the neighbor's gardener saw it and pitched a hissy fit because they were one over the limit. I've always lived in places where you can pretty much have as many as you want; those kind of regulations would drive me nuts.

3. I am a wrestling fan . . .(obvious by my sig picture)

And Hulk Knows Best is a guilty pleasure... I don't find it nessecarily a GOOD show . . but when I see it on it's like . . . must. . . not... switch channel . . can't resist. . .. . Hulkamania's influence. . . Damn it . . . I'm now on VH1. Watcha gonna do!

In anycase. . . I don't like how he has different rules for his daughter and father. . and the fact the show at times seems extremely scripted (Which doesn't bother me. . it is in the end a tele show. ..) . . .

Now if only Randy Savage would appear on a reality show . . . . Wait? What?

"Although no air date has officially been announced, season seven was officially announced by VH1 press representatives in late 2006. Celebrities confirmed to participate include Randy "Macho Man" Savage, Dabney Coleman, Carrot Top, and Phil Hellmuth. Celebrities rumored to join the cast include Tina Marie Jordan, Peter Steele, and Miss Cleo."--- Credit Wikipedia. . .

I WAS ONLY KIDDING DAMN IT!

6. Well he doesn't wrestle anymore . .
But they definitely have to be.

But they aren't as tortured as my ears when I actually attempted to give his rap C.D a listen . . . Although I admit. . . "Be a Man Hulk" is still a guilty little pleasure. I mean how can you not love any song that starts "Hot Diggity Damn Hulk!" ;).

11. How much more older can he get?
Just kidding...its a true testament to his love of the sport/game, that he continues to wrestle. Nowadays, he only does minor moves, usually a chest slap, or hip toss....but he still has his heart in it(so it seems) :D

7. Yes, its a good/great show
I'm a big wrestling fan too, and the Hulkster is my fave....:D The show is pretty good, and he seems like a good man, and even a better father...although, he will have a very hard time letting go of his daughter.
