who owns a remote car starter?
-17 degrees this morning.

I won't have a car without one.

2. I bet they're getting big in Arizona
to "pre-cool" your car.

4. We have one and love it. It's fantastic when it's -25 and you really
and truly *have* to go to work. We'll never be without one again.

5. Love it!
Unless I move out of state, I will always have one on my car. I was always terrible about starting my car before, which is horrible in the uber chilly weather.

6. Mine goes off at work sometimes.
Every so often someone will come up to me and tell me that my car is running. I don't work in an office, so I have to keep them in my pocket.

8. Just got one for my wife's minivan
It's a nice thing to have. When I was scraping off my car (that doesn't have one) yesterday morning it was -5.

9. That, and a garage.
Pre-warming the car makes all the difference in the world.

At night keeping it in the garage means no frost and ice to deal with in the morning.

10. I have one, never used it
It spooked me. I had visions of the car starting by itself and attacking a la Stephen King.:-)

12. My old roommate
Did have issues with hers-before she had it fixed, the car would occasionally start on it's own. We were at a small town bar and it turned on by itself. She got sick of going to shut it off, so she finally told someone seated by a window that if it started driving away to let her know.

I still would be lost without mine!

11. I use too
I had one put in my last p.u. truck (95 Ranger) I loved it. I hated it when I would drive home when it was warm and I turned on the cool vent and forget to change it to WARM... nothing like going out to get into a warm truck and getting the chills instead. :silly: But the engine dwas warm.

Some day I'll get one in my SportTrac, got to get my finances in better shape first.

BTW I love gadgets
