I just had a meeting today with the Michigan Black Expo Inc. They are a group that is trying to diversify and bring the Afrocentric experience to metropolitan Grand Rapids. They are trying to start up some arts and programs for youth, a radio station etc. Their website is www.mbei.org. It is an interesting organization. They are also an activist group in a way. I guess Katrina and the Prop. 2 passage is what spurned me.

Me and my mom have our opinions about Black History Month and how it should be educated, lol. Not only that but the activist blood runs in our veins.

I am also trying to get a hold of some electronica groups here in GR and see if I can do some vocalizations. I am not an American Idol type of singer but for being a hearing-impaired person I have a pretty decent voice.
