and $2.00 two weeks ago. I'm watching the gauge drop as the furnace drinks oil during this cold snap. I was using about 3 gallons a day, now I'm sure it's at least 7 or 8. :wow:
All I know is this is the second fill this winter and will probably need 1 1/2 more. On top of that our family room has a separate heat pump so we get hit with the electric bill too.
4. I turned my furnace off at the end of April last year.
How big is your storage tank? Mine's in the basement and holds 275 gallons.
I live in a rural area and the nights are very cold. I'm thinking about getting a couple of these units for my room and the living room to get buy when the days are warmer.
Space heaters are dangerous and use too much electricity. I rent and cannot install a pellet stove or a woodburner. A woodburner wouldn't make any sense because I'm gone at work all day.
