Poll question: Clerks 2 - eh or meh?
I liked all of Kevin Smith's movies, even the dopey Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

Wait - take that back - Did not like Jersey Girl.

1. I enjoyed Clerks 2.
Smith's films are hardly cinematic genius, but they're funny.

3. It was okay...
but I was expecting more after the initial buzz. The second spends much more time developing the dramatic elements of the love story at the expense of the great (although somewhat stilted) dialogue/commentary that marked the first. Basically, it spends less time being funny, and although the second has its bright spots humor-wise, its less clever and more juvenile on the whole.

4. Loved it.
Clerks 2 actually has a plot, as opposed to a series of cleverly written skits, as was the case of Clerks.

Plus, I need to admit that I enjoyed watching Rosario Dawson dance on the roof. ROWR.

5. Awful.
Kevin Smith thinks he's a lot funnier than he is. I've cut him a lot of slack because of Chasing Amy, but I'm done with him now.

Then again, I also hated Jay and Silent Bob, so you may feel differently.

7. It was okay
There were some genuinely funny moments in it (I couldn't stop laughing at "I'm sorry, Jesus!") but it was a little uneven.
