We did hit 70° F today, and I saw the first butterfly of the season. It has been the mildest winter so far in ages here.

probably in the 40's. Not too bad, but it just feels really cold and dreary.

23. ooh I went to school there then to Chicago in 1980
I remember 3 Sundays in January 1982 that the temp was way below zero. I lived in a big drafty apartment. Went shopping in the morning but stayed in the whole day and never felt warm. Landlord controlled the heat but the place was too drafty to keep it in.

30. Ahh, The People's Republic as we used to call it!
It's a good place. I was married there. At the UU church on Green Street. Come to think of it, I was also divorced there, in the County Courthouse. Good times.

52. Hummus is good on crackers, but you're right, not much for sandwiches
For vegan sandwiches, give me just a Subway veggie delite with all the veggies. Except jalapenos. I have a German stomach.

45. Not any more. But the underaged drinking fine is $70 in U and $250 in C
Strangely enough, this hasn't led to massive amounts of underage drinking in Urbana. I think that's because you need to be 21 in Urbana to go into bars and only 18 in Champaign
