1. Dustin Hoffman as Joe Wilson, but,
he could probably handle both roles, actually.;)

2. Hoffman is great but a little old looking. Kevin Costner is my choice
for Wilson; he kinda lookslike him anyway. I can't come up with a suitable Plame tho. So many of the blond actresses are too young...

I haven't seen Plame close up enought to make a guess. Someone who reminds me of her is Erin Brockovich, so maybe Julia Roberts playing Erin Brockovich...no, there wasn't any real resemblance there. It's hard for me tot think of any actresses that age that are still blonde. Maybe Nicolette Sheridan, although she's looking pretty strange to me because of all the plastic surgery. Of course, she always had an other-worldly look.

12. Good choices both...
...but I got it into my head that it should be Chris Noth and Kim Cattrall.

19. there's a good choice
but I saw here on a lifetime special yesterday and she's gained an awful lot of weight. I think Plame is in pretty good shape, if I remember right.

15. Scarlett Johnansen as Valerie Plame.
And George Clooney is a pretty good choice to play Joe Wilson.

Phillip Seymour Hoffman could play Rove (Hoffman is very capable of playing evil). Maybe Ben Affleck as Fitzgerald.

24. I saw Anna Nicole at the courthouse once
She was fighting for the old coot's estate in probate court.
The woman is HUGE. As in TALL.
She was wearing spike heels and was as tall as her male attorneys who were probably six three or six foot four.

She's probably six feet tall in bare feet, or close to it. Or is it because everybody looks tall from where I stand at five foot three?

31. ANS is 5' 11" One of my ex GF's claimed to be 5' 11 3/4 "" ......

She was embarrassed by her height. In fact she
was a righteous six footer. Weighed in at 165 lbs.

When she showed up for clubs day at the U of Victoria
the entire rowing team chased her begging for her to
sign up. She had powerful legs and a 38" inseam.

Talk about super anchor for the eights!!!

She was a musician and too busy so she turned them
down. She could have made the Olympics. The rowing
club was understandably crushed.

23. Don't know about Barkin, but Neeson as Joe is interesting.
Altho Kevin Costner really DOES look like Joe Wilson. And Liam Neeson is not American, so there is not that plain American look, if you know what I mean?

27. Aw, CTyankee, we Americans come from...
...a rich stew of ethnic groups. I'm a mutt myself, and when traveling I've been taken for various nationalities.

Besides, if Liam Neeson can play Oskar Schindler and Alfred Kinsey, I'm sure he's up to Joe Wilson.

34. Yep, you are right. I LOVED Neeson in "Kinsey". He was great.
The movie was unappreciated and ignored by the Academy Awards. Too bad. I thought it was a fantastic film.

32. Jodie Foster as Valerie...
my first thought...

there's a remarkable similarity in eyes, forehead, smile crease...Jodie's chin more pointed but similar face shape. I don't know how they compare physically, size, etc. Foster is a very subtle actress and I think she'd be good in this role

Plame

Foster

I'm not sure of others, no overwhelming first thought

36. But who for Plame? She is such an enigma, not being photographed a lot.
I just kind of wonder. I think she is late 30s or early 40s so she is still young and glamourous.

Corbin Bernsen, once the divinely slimy Arnie Becker of L. A. Law and now the curmudgeon ex-cop father Henry Spencer on Psych.
