I've got a little drinky in my hand as well.

I remember this day. Wendy (the girl in front of me) go FUCKED UP and we all went to Marix (this cool Tex-Mex place) and she and I SANG our asses off. They were jammin with some major soul and disco tunes. We had a blast!

But she's my homegirl and can throw it down when it comes to belting out some SANGIN'! I miss them. She and Michelle moved to Arizona. Wendy and I are TOTAL SANGERS. Which is that we would probably get the hook from Simon on American Idol ... but we don't give a shit.

Two concerts stick out in my mind. Both were Teena Marie show. One was at House o' Blues on Sunset ... Wendy and I WORKED that show. Our SO's were standing back going ... "Oh just let them have at it". The second was at Universal City .. Teena Marie AND Rick James (just a few months before he died).... my SO was out of town so Michelle was out numbered. She actually kept up with Wendy and me getting our groove on. We ain't rite!
