Worst. bath. EVER.
I'm terminally freezing and I was dirty, so I went upstairs to take a nice, warming soak. It's so freaking cold in my house upstairs that the (porcelain) tub dropped the water temp in about 2 minutes, even though I filled the tub with almost straight hot water. I was freezing and wet instead of freezing and dry.

There is just no escape from the misery of being cold (besides a plane ticket).
I hate it! You hear me? I hate it!

9. Ugh, I hate that.
I usually use a big bucket to pour a few buckets of hot water over the porcelain, to try to prevent that, because we have the same problem. Our tub sits right over the old-school basement, too. Brr!

Sorry you're having a crappy afternoon!

12. Note to self:
Throw space heater in bathroom for an hour before next bath. It didn't even occur to me that the tub itself could suck so much heat out of the water. Good to know I'm not crazy, and someone else has had similar experience.

14. Definitely not crazy!
At least, not about that. ;)

It's either that, or about 10 minutes into the bath, I empty half the water and refill with hot water again....
