26. Fruits Basket
I don't watch it as it's a shoujo (girl's) anime. And if you watch Naruto, watch the subs. They're so much better.

30. I had no idea there was "girls" and "boys" anime.
but I guess that makes sense. From what I've seen of the Fruits Basket books they read like a romance novel.

32. And it is, with a bit of action
Usually a girl's anime will have a female lead, and a guy's anime will have a male lead. However this is not always the case.

5. The only ones I've seen which didn't have crap stories were Miyazaki films
But almost all the good ones have amazing animation and art direction, and are otherwise very imaginative. The ol' "mysterious father" and "silent, mysterious but deadly androgynous male hero" schtick gets a bit old.

31. You might like
Kamichu

and Last Exile

My daughter is the otaku, but she got me into it. I also like Miyazaki and both of those series are reminiscent of his work.

I'm big into anime rights.

I don't think big-eyed children should be used for our entertainment.

The stuff on the Cartoon Netork, nearly *ALL* of it, is trash. Garbage.

Some of the older stuff is great.

Project A-Ko
(Both) Vampire Hunter D films
Akira
Lensman
Ghost In The Shell

13. Love a lot of anime
Props if you know where my name comes from, although it was live action and not anime originally. Three wwords for you: Neon Genesis Evangeleon. Also GITS, some of the Gundam series, and Paranoia Agent, which really messed with my head more than I like to admit.

It can be involving and it can put some people off if you don't like that kind of genre. I hope you get a chance to see it complete sometime.

16. not really a fan...some of the best is ok, but doesn't do a lot for me
anyone heard of Samurai X?

I just had to watch some of that to catalog it (rough job, eh? getting paid to watch anime).

What I cataloged had 5 discs, Reflection, Trust and Betrayal, the Motion Picture, and the director's cuts of both Reflection and Trust and Betrayal.

21. I don't like that creepy, pedophilic one. Oh, wait--that's all of them!
Two words: Kekko Kamen

Just kidding, of course. I'm not a big fan, largely because I've been forcibly exposed to the bottom end of the quality spectrum. I dated a woman years ago who was crazy into anime, but I never caught the fever.

Not a big anime fan, but this is good for a laugh. 15 minute episodes make it go down like cotton candy.
