MySpace continues to suck only more so

For the past couple of weeks, I've had to log in twice - once on the regular front page and then again on the page that tells me, "MySpace is free but you have to be a member to do that!"

Irritating but bearable.

Today I can't log in at all. It keeps going right back to the front page every time - no error message, no nothing.

So I decide to "Contact MySpace" and there's a form - choose your topic.

I choose one.

Choose a subtopic.

And the drop-down menu shows... nothing.

And so when I hit "continue", it tells me

"You need to choose a sub-topic."

1. When the second log-in screen pops up, I hit the Back button.

Then I log in to the original screen, and it goes through.

I can't even get to the "MySpace is free..." page.

Silly thing.

3. Make sure that second screen has a "myspace.com" url in the

address bar and not a different domain, lest your login and password get phished for myspace spammers.

I agree, it does suck, but there I am anyway.

It's just being stupid today.

I got around it - went to my DU profile and clicked on the link to my page.

The only reason I have the MySpace is it's the only place I have to connect to a couple of people.

5. A lot of profiles on my friends list are gone lately.

I don't know if they're deleted for political reasons or if people are getting sick of it. I have a lot of poltically charged people on my list.
