Um....24!!!!!!! (Spoilers)
Holy crap. Tonight's episode was great! Why is Karen Hayes letting that little Tom freak push her around? If she would have told the President what was going on, he would have listened. And apparently next week, he's not going to let that little freak push him around. I'm so excited about that.
Your thoughts, comments?

1. Is it just a coincidence that the "Tom" character resembles the sniveling PNAC coward Bill Kristol?
Considering Kristol's a FAUX News employee, that would be ironic to have him openly mocked on a FOX network show.

3. I rather thought he was based on either Cheney or Rove.

5. Tom seems more competent, and Kristol isn't welcome in the Whitehouse!
But it's a good comparison otherwise.

I have to say that I love Peter McNichol's performance in this. For years, I could only see him as the patsy of Vigo the Cruel in Ghostbusters II, regardless of his other roles.

Here, he has real presence and gravity. Good casting, and a fine performance!

2. I hope Walid doesn't die.
Though when I heard, "We're taking Walid OUT!" I thought the feds were going to shoot him.

Also nice to see James Cromwell as Jack's dad.

4. It looks like Dad and James are going to kick some ass next week.
I really hope Walid doesn't die either. Oh, and you know when the President's sister gets ahold of the President, he's going to be in trouble.

6. Imagine this though...
they tried to get Donald Sutherland on the show but he couldn't d/t his schedule. Now that would have been awesome.
