3. Massive and righteous indignation...
at Southern women with Confederate flag tattoos who breastfeed their children in public whilst smoking. All you'd need would be to find a way to work John Edwards and guns in there and that'd cover almost everything.

5. The flaming of the Anti-Hillarittes
If you are against the continued monarchy of the bush-clinton-bush-clinton (hillary)- bush (jeb) cabal that has run this corporation, I mean country, since the early 1980's, somehow you dont belong on the DU. That's the flamewar that will continue.

16. Been mostly ok, except for our robot project at school.
Having some troubles with the project again, technical problems. Have you ever heard of a software program called Deep Freeze? Basically, what it does is freeze a computer in the state it is currently in. Before Deep Freeze, you can save files to the computer like normal and they'll be there next time you boot it up. What Deep Freeze does is make it so you can save that file, but it will not be there next time you boot up. It's causing more problems than it is worth. It can be used to keep a computer safe and up and running so virii and other problems cannot bring it down, but it can be a MAJOR Excedrin/Tylenol stock booster (pain in the ass) as well.

<This next part is confusing, frustrating, and annoying. It may cause you to get a headache just reading about it, but here are the details if you want to wade into it.>

One of our teachers installed Deep Freeze in all our classes. Well, he was trying to cut down on game playing and other such nonsense while he was lecturing. What it did though was cause a heap of problems. Case in point, he wanted us to install a scanner on one of the computers but didn't "thaw" Deep Freeze, which we thought would have let us install the scanner without so many problems. The first time we tried it (while it was still "frozen"), it would not install at all. It wouldn't even let us install the drivers. We figured out his password, because he uses the same 2 passwords all the time anyhow. We "thawed" the program while he wasn't looking to get the drivers installed hoping that would solve the problem. The computer needed to restart to finish installing the drivers for the scanner and of course Deep Freeze kept it from installing altogether, because once you reboot, it's "frozen" again. Here's the kicker though. It froze (in the general out of memory CTRL ALT DEL type use of the word) even after we thawed it to install the drivers. When it rebooted, it would not load Windows XP. It just sat there with the startup screen and went no further.

<end headache inducing part>

We called the teacher up to the building where we were working to see if he could help us get it installed. After wasting the entire day on it, he couldn't even get it installed. We never did get that scanner installed. That's just one more example of all the problems we have been having with our project at school. If it's not one thing, it's another. And to top it all off, he blessed us out for not having the reports ready pronto, which would require the scanner for us to finish. I'm so tired of that thing. Been doing that project for 2 semesters now. I can't wait until it's finished. I'm beyond sick of it. What a nightmare. Luckily though, this is my last semester. It's all so confusing and bewildering. Worse than that, it's causing my grades to slip in other classes now. Haven't passed a quiz yet this semester from worrying about this project.

Or drop kick them. I'd probably just hurt my foot though. I might not feel it at the time, if I was pissed off enough, but oh, I'd feel it later. My home computer is an angel though. I couldn't ask for more from it. It's great. It's clearly a screwed up school thing.
