I havn't had a chance to post for a couple of days.
They started giving my SIL a shot of morphine every hour or so. It is as horrible to be here as I thought. I have met no less then 15 or 20 of Marliese's friends, everyone says what a special person she is. She married my brother and I came to know her and love her. Now I have met people from Mongolia and Oklahoma that love her. The phone rings constantly with people from Germany,Virginia, and Ontario that wish her well.

13. My hope is that I do not impose on my fellow DUers.
It seems to help me by telling this stuff. The homecare nurse, the palliative nurse and the Oncologist doctor just left. I talked to the doc,he figures she has only hours left now. I asked him how can you people do this kind of stuff day after day? "I do not know,I take many long walks, hug my family, but the strain is still intense>" How do they do this?

14. She did want morphine.
My brother figured it out. Marlise is German, she was saying Mohnblume flower. It translates to poppy flower. Morphine is devived from poppies.
