There is a completely obscure Todd Rundgren/Utopia record from 1976 that was never released (until recently as Japanese bootleg, I think) called Disco Jets. Nothing but wierdo instrumentals, including the Stark Trek theme. Also on said record is Cosmic Convoy. Aliens talking back and forth in high-pitched distorted voices a la the original...
