And as dumb as I thought The Descent was, I did jump a few times. That is what I love.

Which is why I'm such a big David Lynch fan, haha. But yeah, give me a little while and sometime tonight I'll PM you with a list of some of my favourites to check out.

6. Yep, and that one isn't as great as most people say it is, in my opinion.
But it's the only of his films I've been able to note entirely hate, haha.

7. Mmhmm.
I thought there were parts of Signs that I liked. Then I realize he just completely ripped them out of The Night of the Living Dead.

Was it that bad?

18. Yeah. I rented the Baby Ruth in the Water too

The cartoon at the beginning might have been the dumbest thing I have ever seen ever.

This review I read afterward made me laugh out loud: http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060720/REVIEWS/60720002/1023
It made it all better.

20. With all the bad reviews I keep hearing about this movie
I think I might want to see it just for the sheer train-wreck factor! Point of fact, it's next in line on my Netflix queue...

22. i think he shot his bolt with 6th sense
his twist in the tail endings got a bit boring after that.

I think the rot really set in with Signs though. Sixth sense seemed so clever and original and then Signs comes along and its like he made a slick update of an old-fashioned 50's b-movie. e.g. the aliens wandering around without clothes on, in the syle of proper cold war-era little green men - from what i know of our own space program that just seems unlikely.

i haven't seen Lady yet but the plot sounded so preposterous i figured i'd double check with someone who'd seen it first. thanks for heads up!
