Even Sprecher's nowadays uses that :grr: corn syrup lately.

1. A Local favorite
in New Orleans is quite tasty - Barq's. Traditional lunch, Barq's and a Shrimp Po-Boy. However, I think Barq's was recently bought out by one of the biggies.

I never quite figured out if I preferred Abita or Barq's, but the're both darned good...

8. Stewart's also makes one of my favorite Ginger Beers (fav is Jamaican).

Virgil's is Damn good too. I really like the molasses in virgil's, but is harder to find here in So-Cal. Great link BTW.

Try Mug N Bun Drive In
They also have gallon jugs you can purchase of their homemade root beer to take home. If you know a way to send a gallon jug cooled through the mail, I would pick up a jug for you and package it if cover all the cost.

Whole Foods has one made with sugar, too, but it's not as good as Boylan's. Boylan's also make a good birch beer.
