Anyone else burned out from the holidays?
I'm totally fried. Didn't want to come in to work this morning after two weeks of eating, drinking, and socializing way too much.

1. Burned out in general
Not from the holidays. The holidays were actually nice, because very few others were in the office, and I could actually get some real work done for once.

But, alas, that is over now. ;-)

2. not from the holidays, but I swear I'll never . . .
. . . put milk into the fridge again. Two whole weeks including two four-day weekends and easy days in the office with no boss, and I have to wait until last night -- two days before my nephew arrives for a visit -- to muck up my back again by putting milk into the refrigerator.

Burnout doesn't quite describe it, but yeah, I'm on board with you if general exasperation counts.

8. I Detroit, a lot of us get two weeks off
since the Big Three are closed over the holidays. It's one big long party. Oh, my head still aches.

4. Enjoyed it but glad they're over
it was interfering with my job search.

"He's not in, can you call back after Jan 1?"

"She just left fo a 1/2, can you call back tomorrow?"

"No, no word yet, people are out of the office and they can't get a concensus."

5. Today is my first day back at work since December 26th.
I had a lot of fun with family and friends, but I guess I was ready to get back to work. Although I did not feel that way when the alarm went off this morning.

6. Me and Mine
all had the flu from about December 20 through NYE. Not all together, noooooo, that would have been too easy. My Five Year Old son had to spend a night in Intensive Care for Respiratory problems brought on by the Flu. I have Bronchitis brought on by the Flu (treating with Zithromax). So, I'm not so much burned out as disappointed at the lack of Holiday festiveness of the previous Solstice Festival

7. Like a burnt matchstick...
I'm barely here. Back into the grind ever so reluctantly.

This is the only part of the year I don't care for -- it's such a long, cruel march from now until spring.
