YAY! shortbus made breakfast! Sausage, eggs and.....Pepper spray

He was adding Tobasco to the sausages while they were cooking, and missed one, spilling the Tobasco into the hot pan. It evaporated into a toxic cloud that had us both coughing, choking, eyes watering, noses running etc. Leave it to him to figure out how to make WMD in the kitchen. :D

in the kitchen! LOL!

I once tried to make a Thai dish that had you put honcho chili peppers in the oil to flavor it before you put in the stuff to be stir-fried.

The oil was too hot, the peppers turned black, and smoke and oil filled the apartement. I set off the smoke alarm and it was several hours before either us could open our eyes. :o

and turn on the fan before it finally cleared. Although still right by the stove it's a bit pungent. :eyes:
