I had one of the bugs that's making the rounds a few weeks ago and it had a nasty upper respiratory element with a lingering cough. Sleep as much as you can. It's the best way to get through it.
The viruses out there this winter are a pain in the head. Trust me, sleep or rest as much as you can. It really helps. My SO tried to muscle through it and was sick TWICE as long as I was.
