3. Hmmm no exploding yet
No smoke either - but I feel like I'm in a David Lynch movie...

2. Kid A is when I got tired of them.
I wish they'd go back to The Bends or OK Computer.

4. I like all of their post-"rebirth" albums

The newer stuff gets haunting....the kind of stuff you find in the soundtrack to your weirdest dreams..

5. I can kind of forgive Kid A as an experiment.
It's been awhile, so I'll have to listen to it again, and it's not a bad album or anything, but it seems like everything else afterwards has been the same old sound.

6. Amnesiac is a totally different album than Kid A
They were both recorded at the same time, but the two albums need to be looked at in comparison to each other.

One tune (Morning Bell) appears on both albums, in totally different form.

7. I have Amnesiac, too.
But they both have a somewhat similar sound.

Look at The Bends, for example, and hear how Thom sings the hell out of the songs -- compared to post-Kid A, which, to me, has become less organic and feature emotionless vocals.

I understand the whole atmosphere thing they were going for. It's just that I would like at least a few tracks where they return to a regular sound, you know?

9. Thing is that's what I love about Radiohead
OK Computer and everything after has treated vocals as just another instrument - which makes them completely unique...

Studio Geniuses.
