President, before you are officially announcing for President? And is there a rule of thumb for pre-announcement announcements as opposed to post announcement announcements.

I find it very frustrating to hear that soo and so is going to announce or has just announced when I thought they had already announced. . . .because they had already announced.

Could someone announce the formula for me?

people announce the formation of an exploratory committee, which allows them, legally, to do certain necessary things. Then, following that, there's often an official announcement of candidacy.

I can't think of anybody this year who's announced anything more than once. Did I miss something?
